POINT-HD is easy to set up

Outside Broadcasts or Studio based productions, HD or SD workflows, POINT-HD is easy to setup, install and use.

For Outside Broadcasts the POINT-HD system can be located either in the broadcast truck and the Talent Touch screen remotely located at the commentary position using CAT5 or Fibre extenders or the POINT-HD system can be located at the commentary position with 2 or 3 video tie lines.

2 video tie lines are required if POINT-HD is setup to use its on board keyer, 1 line for video input and the other tie line for video output.

3 video tie lines are required if POINT-HD is setup for use with the vision switchers downstream keyer (DSK), in which case the tie lines provide video input, key and fill video outputs.

POINT-HD can be set to genlock to either the video input or via external reference input.

For Studio based shows the POINT-HD workstation can be installed in the main equipment room with CAT5 tie line between the studio floor Talent’s touch screen position and the workstation, additional CAT5 tie lines can also be added to the control room / gallery if producer / graphics control is required. For occasional use studio shows the POINT-HD system can also be set up within the studio floor, the POINT-HD workstation is quiet enough not to introduce audio noise whilst on air.
